Le Book Humanitaire is a first-line emergency service for all members of the community in social distress. Although we act for the well-being of everyone, some services are offered all year long while others are occasional (support for immigrant communities outside the region, Christmas meals, Christmas baskets, awareness in schools). Local Emergency Support

Response to local crisis situations in a spontaneous and timely manner.

Community Fridge

Collective self-service refrigerator in which more than 500 meals circulate each day.

Food delivery
for seniors

Free weekly meals delivered to seniors aged 70+ in difficulty.

Mobile Medical Unit

Doctors and nurses roaming the Laurentians to help the less fortunate.

Homeless Outreach Mobile Unit

Help for people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in Saint-Jerome.
